Why did I just have an 800 number call to ask the phone number of my neighbor??

why would they do this??? Doesn't that seem odd??

Your neighbor has an unlisted number ~ it probably was a bill collector calling (800 #) and they want to place a collection call to him.  So they know his address, called you, and you gave them his home phone number !

Bad of you to do that.  Remember next time that people looking for information ~ are probably doing so in a backhanded way for some "not so good" reason.

Tell them they have the wrong number. Or next time they call, cuss them out and tell them if they ever call again, they next person they talk to will be your lawyer.
