Why did Indonesia leave OPEC?

  1. They are directing dwindling reserves to domestic use.


  2. They have their own natural resources, and are not dependent on fossile fuel like larger nations are.  Good for them.  I'm getting a chainless, shaft driven bicycle.

  3. Indonesia left OPEC because there is few oil left there. In the last years, Indonesia imported more oil than exported. So, regarding this, it is a normal decision to leave OPEC.
