Why did Jamaal Anderson, Former ATL running back retire?

I was just looking him up and it says he is currently 35, and he retired 7 years ago in 2001. So he was only in his late 20's, why did he retire so young?

  1. He had the same knee injury that Terell Davis had. So they both had to retire
