  1. He wanted to pick someone with more experience than Obama.  Oh...he could have picked pretty much anyone.  I thinks it's a great pick.  Young/beautiful strong mother.  Voters will look at this as change.

  2. Seems a rather blatant and pathetic attempt to turn the tables on Obama.  I do not see many falling for it.  Women in general should be outraged that such a sexist as McCain is making a mockery out of picking a woman for show only.

  3. She was the best for him.......what other reason. That is the objective obviously.

  4. Like Swizzle said "Bush's Brain" Karl Rove chose her - looks like he want to control another Presidency

AMizing: Impecable Ethics Record? She's under  investigation for misuse of office in alaska? Are you serious?

  5. I dont know but I dont think he made a good choice , which is good as far as I am concerned .....go Obama !!

    I agree with Tina

  6. Alaska Oil

  7. He picked her because she is a woman.

ONCE AGAIN the Republicans are banking on the stupididitityy of Americans to win this election!  This pick is so SEE THROUGH!

  8. Cuz hes cool like that.

  9. Because she has an impeccable ethics record and has reamed the Republican party in Alaska. She is the absolute epitome of bi-partisan. FAR more non-partisan than Obama or Biden could ever hope to be.

  10. He didn't.  Karl Rove did.

  11. Because he has no clue as to what he is doing.  A new Governor with just 2 years experience in Alaska?  So much for saying Senator Obama doesn't have enough experience!  Joe Biden is going to wipe the floor with her in the VP debate.  This is a terrible pick if McCain actually wanted to win the election - I'm glad he made this choice!! ;)

  12. Very good substance with a considerable amount of style; a winner. The woman is an Oil and Gas expert.

  13. Oustanding choice.

She is known as a reformer and maverick in her state and is a Washington outsider. She is conservative, a woman and mother. She adds excitement and history to the Republican party.

  14. So he could capture Hillary Clkinton's constituency.

  15. It's cool, after Hillary did her women speech the other night and got the women all fired up she did the republicans a favor.

  16. He had to find someway to gain votes...he certainly isn't going to do it without a woman...that's the only chance he has left!  With Obama's excellent speech last night, he's going to have a hard time pulling it off.

  17. He thinks she's a cutie.

Other than that I can't think of a reason for a guy who's been harping about experience, picking a lady whose been governor for less than 2 years of a state with a population less than my city.

  18. He wants to win.

  19. She's a fresh face to politics.  Now Democrats can see for themselves that Republicans are about change, yes, I said it, Republicans have a change candidate.  I'm sure Dems will have a tough time swallowing it.
