  1. "Fired Up, the Austin, Texas-based parent company that owns, operates and franchises 170 Johnny Carino's in 24 states, is repositioning the Italian restaurants with a name change from Johnny Carino's Italian to Carino's Italian Grill."

"Carino's Italian Grill reflects the energy and excitement of the open-flame grill that engages guests and makes the dining experience so much fun," said Norman Abdallah, President and co-CEO. "We wanted to bring this to the forefront through the new name along with the addition of some fabulous flame grilled Italian specialties that are fresh, bold, original and incredibly delicious."  These new grilled additions to the menu include: Cedar Plank Salmon, Grilled Italian Strip Steak, and Chicken Diavolo."
