  1. I think he probably realized he didn't like the match ups Izzy would have, although he might have had just a mental lapse.


  2. Good question, and you aren't the only one asking. Half of Cardinal Nation is wondering the same thing.

    I believe he has made more bad decisions this year than all other years combined.

    It made no sense not to with runners on second & third... even if he had to use another pitcher as the pinch-hitter, which he has done before.

    But, you know how lawyers are, they give you a 3-act play with gestures and changes before admitting they made a mistake.

  4. Didn't make any sense, I know. He pinch-hit for Jimenez later, but had Izzy hit? This is the reason I hate TLR - he makes the worst decisions at the worst possible times.
