  1. the main idea of moving into geneva was to save the tax money. swiss has the least income tax rates in the Euro-American nations. there are secret banks in swiss. Michael Schumacher shifted his home to swiss around 1998 to escape or save tax

  2. Actually it was for tax purposes more than anythng else. Switzerland's tax laws are very suitable for drivers because racing is not allowed there. So being a racer is not an occupation. Thus, it makes their status "jobless" in Switzerland. But the Swiss authorities are starting to do something about this

  3. Hi RobboOne,

Hey I live in Geneva sounds better then I live in the Isle of Man not a pulling line, don't you think

    CoffeeBean

  4. read between the lines,,,just like roger moore,,,

its called avoiding paying our income tax

  5. Well, how about

I live in the Cayman Islands, or I live in  Jersey( might get confused with New Jersey)  or I live in  Andorra ( another haven)  or  I live in Antigua, but I live in Geneva or Lausanne, Switzerland   or  Monaco  well that just conjures up  secret banks and Yachts and loads of money, I suppose he could have gone to Lichtenstein!

  6. Many drivers move to a different country to pay less taxes. When you make that kind of money, it can really add up.

  7. Like all racing drivers, he had the option of Monaco, Rep of Ireland, isle of Man Jersey etc. Im sure it was about choice. Maybe the houses were nicer or maybe he wanted the mountain air for all we know!

We know it was for tax purposes, I don't know why he doesn't say as such, but then again, it isn't any business of ours what he does with his millions!
