"I'm tired of the Red Sox."

What did they do to him? I really want to know.

And no bad answers.

  1. Exactly, Manny being Manny!

  2. I believe it has to do with the front office and the owership.  Bob Ryan said this week on ESPN  when he was asked if Manny will be back next season.  He replyed with either Manny will be back or Theo will gone.  Both will not be back next season.  That helps me think it has to do with the front office and ownership.  Just my view does not mean it is right.

  3. they don't deserve him...lol, what an idiot. i'm glad he on the west coast, maybe we won't here about much anymore

  4. i have know idea what was wrong! they paid him as much as he wanted, and he loved his teammates and the Red Sox are one of the most successful teams in baseball. it just doesn't make sense.

  5. exactly why he wanted to leave was on sportscenter. he gave specific answer why.  im sorry i forgot.. something about redsox management.. go to sportscenter.com or somthing it will tell you everything he said

  6. Because he's an idiot. Manny was paid and treated very well in Boston. He's just a prima donna who finds reasons to complain.

  7. nothing. manny just being manny

  8. He believes that Red Sox management didn't give him the respect he deserves when in reality it was the other way around.

  9. I spent 4 days in Boston and couldn't wait to be gone from there, I couldn't imagine spending 10 years there without going nuts.

  10. I think he felt that if he stayed that the Red Sox would pick up next year's option at $20M  and possibly the one after that.  Then he would be like a forty year old free agent.  As a free agent this year he could probably get a four year $100M deal.  More money that he could spend in his lifetime, but he felt he could get it.

  11. They did nothing but overlook all of the bad things he did.

He just likes to run his mouth when he gets bored, and likes to see what happens as a result.
