Why did McCain and Palin only meet once before he declared her his running mate?

  1. Until he declared her his running mate, I NEVER HAD HEARD OF THE WOMAN....from what I read about her, she has NO experience and how can she have time to much of anything with 5 kids?

  4. Because according to Carl Rove the people who voted for Clinton will vote for McCain.I don't know how that idea popped in their head so soon.But I am for Obama now even though I voted for Clinton.Lets hope that the out of touch one will lose.

  6. He needed her on the team to gain the Clinton vote.. She was basically unheard of before the Clinton vrs Obama fued.. She is the best woman on the Republican side, so she wins.. Doesn't matter how well Mccain knows her..

  10. No.  They live far away from each other.  I am sure he has a dossier on her from which to make his decision while being a senator, campaigning, father, husband, etc.
