Considering the VP isn't supposed to be anything other than a backup in case the President can't perform the job,  I'd say most people don't know what a VP does.    Look up the history of the VP.

I wouldn't underestimate Palin.  Unless you mean that she hasn't been corrupted enough to fit in with the big boys. Her strength is that she isn't locked in to the usual politics that the majority in D.C. are in.

That was a joke that many politicians have repeated throughout the years. It refers to the fact that the VP's job is dependent on how much responsibility/power the President delegates to the VP. So, besides having a pulse and breaking congressional ties, can you tell me what the VP does?

And as far as her only governing 600k people, that doesn't mean anything. Alaska faces unique problems/issues, much different than larger populated states, such as New York or California. The population of the state has little to do with how hard it is or how important it is to run that state.

And Alaska is, contrary to popular belief, much more than a "quiet freakin' tundra". It is a very diverse landscape...ranging from plains, to mountains, to forests, to "quiet freakin' tundras".

Her executive leadership experience is more relevant than anything that Obama has done in his life.  She has more foreign affairs experience because Alaska negotiates with foreign countries for oil rights.  She has more economic experience because she is responsible for the economy of Alaska and has made huge cuts to property taxes.  She knows more about energy needs and policies thatn Obama.

Obama has more than half of his votes have been present or abstain which shows he can't make a decision.  He was an Illinois senator for eight years and ran for office twice during that time which took him away from his duties for more than two of those years.  His election to the US Senate is a joke.  Look into the details.  He has been in the senate for less than two years and spent more than the past year running for office and is never doing his job.  He has zero experience.
