Why did McDonald's Chicken Biscuit go up to $1.99 in price in my town?

  1. The entire menu will probably go up due to the cost of transporting food costing more as a result of the higher gas prices.


  2. It probably will go up bcuz its getting more popular and the cost of transporting and  shiping and all the oil is getting higher

  3. There are several Chicken items on the Menu.  The Spicy Chicken Sandwich costs more than the Chicken Breakfast Biscuit.  Maybe you have the items confused or the $1.99 price includes a drink and potatoes.

  4. Increases in fuel and commodity prices are increasing the cost for food.

  5. i asked about the double cheeseburger in my town and they said because of the franchise owner they can mark the prices what ever they want thats why on commercials they say "participating stores only"
