Why did Micheal Allen get DQ'd from the St. jude Championship?

  1. um, rberrido is not correct.  a player is not disqualified for having 15 clubs in his bag.  correction: a player would inquire a 4 stroke penalty, and i know for sure that they would not be disqualified. i don't know why he was disqualified, but it could not have been from 15 clubs in his bag....


  2. Actually you both are half right. He did have 15 clubs in the bag and no you can't be DQ'd for that sole reason, but if you play the round and don't adjust your score with the penalty strokes for having 15 clubs and then sign your card you are DQ'd. Basically it wasn't found that he had 15 clubs in the bag until after he signed his card!

  3. he had 15 clubs on his bag. Limit is 14
