Why did Microsoft make Windows compatible with a Mac?

  2. it proabbaly would be but i bet apple compony paied microsoft alot of money or apple just made there system compatable.

  3. Because there is software only available to Windows users that Mac users are used to. For example, a business may require  two different software programs to run their business, but both require different operatings systems: one Windows and the other Mac. By using BootCamp or similar software to run a copy of Windows on your Mac, you can eliminate having to use two machines.

    I myself am looking to get a copy of Windows XP to run on my iMac so I can play my old PC games and use other software that won't run on my Mac.
