When it is one of the most important stances the Catholic church has taken, that Abortion is wrong and that taking a life is unacceptable?

Do you think Nancy just couldn't see the teleprompter?

  1. I think she is pointing out the fact that while it is the official stance of the Catholic Church, there are many members who do not agree with that stance, therefore for many Catholic individuals, it is not a decided upon issue.

  2. It wasn't an accident. Nancy Pelosi knows what she said.

  3. Ummm, she's a liar?

  4. The Catholics also used to say babies had to be baptized or they go to limbo.

They change their mind all the time!!

  5. I'd definitely hope Ms Pelosi isn't consciously trying to deceive the public, including Catholics.  Abortion has been condemned by the Church, with the earliest documents dating to the 1st century.  Shame on her!

  6. “… I would say that as an ardent, practicing Catholic, this is an issue that I have studied for a long time. And what I know is, over the centuries, the doctors of the church have not been able to make that definition … St. Augustine said at three months. We don’t know. The point is, is that it shouldn’t have an impact on the woman’s right to choose,”

She is stating that the Catholic Church has debated over the question when life begins.

  7. so why does god abort 80% of all pregnancy. yes god aborts 80%.

  8. Nancy is a pro abortion, secular progressive  liberal.  I doubt seriously if she is a practicing Catholic. She told everybody this because she has a propensity to stretch the truth.

  9. I found that odd too. It's very much a decided position in the RCC. The Catechism, which is like our Constitution almost, is very clear about issues relating to life, abortion included.

But she's a politician; she does what they all do, no matter what side they're on. They lie and twist things to fit their agendas.

  10. I think she was riding the fence, of course.

She was very misleading about what the Church believes and teaches.

  11. Just like Obama, on Judgment Day, unless they come to true repentance, Jesus will say depart from me ye workers of iniquity, I never knew you.
