Question:

Why did Obama diss Hillary?

Obama set up 2 days of the DNC for the Clintons to give speeches, yet he isn't going to have Hillary as his Vice president? And Hillary's speech was good last night, but she still failed to address the primary concern, which is if Barrack Obama is ready for the presidency. Something she brought up numerous times when she was fighting him for the nomination. Who else besides me thinks that her speech did more to help McCain than it did to help Obama?

  1. He  didn't diss Hillary. It's widespread knowledge that she didn't want VP. She said repeatedly that she wasn't being vetted.

I don't know what part of if you were for me and my platform you should vote for Obama helps McCain.

    In your dreams....

  2. clinton and obama hate each other, duh.

  3. Without sufficient experience on his paper thin resume, Obama would have been well advised to put her on the ticket.  She would have brought in votes, unlike Biden.  However, Michelle Obama had the last say.  Be ironic if her man lost the election because she wanted her way.

  4. quit bitching, hillary represented more of the same **** and obama represents change

  5. Obama has every right to pick his own vp. If he truly didn't think Hillary was the right person, so be it. I would have loved it but it wasn't my call. I thought Hillary made it VERY clear she was for Obama and that we should be, too. I don't think it helped McCain at all.

  6. Ahem, more people voted for Obama than for Hillary.  This is your answer.  She attacked him in her ads.  Now, why in the world would she become his VP. Sheesh.

  7. because Hilliary added very little to the ticket experience wise and would probably have polarized moderate conservatives.

  8. Because too much of the focus would have been taken off of him if he selected her as VP.

Don't be fooled - both Obama and Hillary want the spotlight.  Hillary was still campaigning last night.  You can tell what things came from the heart and what things were simply written for her.  She's behind Obama, but only because she needs to unite the party.  If she continued to pout, she would never have a chance in 2012 or 2016.

I also think, in a roundabout way, that Hillary showed she did NOT think Obama is ready fort the presidency.  She talked about HER campaign, and tried to tie it up with "...if you were for these issues of my campaign, then you need to vote for Barack Obama..." or something to that effect.

That wasn't about Obama, that was about her and the future of the Democratic Party.

  9. I think you've got the nouns in your question switched.
