Why did Obama says McCain has agreed with Bush 90% of the time but forgot to mention that?

The Democratic Controlled Congress for the last two years has given George Bush everything he wanted?

to include supporting the FISA Bill and appropriations for the war....

I'm a Dem, but an honest one...

if you knew how Congress was divided you would know that Bush's republicans had many seats and bills were passed with a lot of influence from the president.

Bush was flawed, and so is McCain

And it's not just that. Democrats even before that have almost as high a percentage. How many of them authorized Bush to take action on Iraq? How many of them voted for the Patriot Act? How many other things have they gone along with? Obama was implying McCain was the reason we're energy dependant because he's been in Congress so long. There are a lot more Democrats who have been there longer. He blamed the Katrina disaster on Bush and McCain but failed to say that the Democrats approved flood gates in Lake Ponchatrain during LBJ's time but never followed through. The last thing either party needs to do is start finger pointing.

Obama gave a very good speech last night. And though I don't agree with all of his ideas he does have a lot of good goals. We do need tax reform. We do need to reverse the trend of jobs going overseas. We do need to get rid of this whole Red-Blue thing. We do need to scrap programs that don't work. We do need to cut government spending. We do need to be energy independent. There were so many things he said he wants to change I've lost track. But if he's elected he's still going to be playing with mostly the same Congress that Bush has had to contend with. And that group doesn't play well together.

Senator Obama, if you are elected I wish you all the luck in the world. You are going to need it.

Because the dems are void of reality...they eat up the little simpleton sayings and slogans...Bush lied....its all about oil....McCain is 4 more years of Bush....simpleton slogans meant for simple, childish minds to hear, memorize, and repeat over and over until it becomes reality...the truth is not in the dems.....

Honesty is the real thing in this election; Obama gives a dazzling speech and promises a lot but has no record of actually doing the things he promises, he reminds me of Jimmy Carter.

First off you're not a Democrat. You're a Republican.

Secondly, the only thing that the President asked for was for Congress to continue to fund Iraq war. Congress did this just as long as they got everything THEY wanted. They used Bush's war as a bargaining chip against him.

You know nothing about politics.
