Question:

Why did Palin abuse her power? Did McCain know that there is a state probe investigation on her?

Palin abused her office by trying to get her former brother-in-law fired from his job as an Alaska state trooper. A former state official claims Palin put pressure on him to fire her brother in law.

McCain only met this woman once and chose her to be second in command. Did he know about the state probe investigation?

  1. it hasn't been proven that she abused her power.

if you were in her position, wouldn't you do the same thing.  if some guy was beating the c**p out of your sister, wouldn't you try to get him fired from a state job?  do you want a state trooper who beats  his wife protecting you?  i don't think so.

  2. No problem!  Don't you remember that Bill Clinton was DISBARRED from the legal profession for perjury in the Paul Jones case.  It's a rite of passage.

  3. Surely he knew.

She sounds like one of those psychochicks. They'll go to get length for revenge. Yuck.

  4. This is just a surface scratch.

MY BETS:  I belong to another forum for abused women!!!  I'd bet the trooper was abusing his power and control by abusing his wife.

This is a very common situation in cops. You'd be surprised how many women of divorce their POLICE officer husband.

Good luck on getting a restraining order. HE'S A COP!!! He doesn't have limits!!!  What would a woman do?  He gets paid to stalk. Seriously!!!!

Its hard to understand unless you've been directly involved with some thing like it.

  5. So much for innocent until proven guilty.

  6. he obviously chose her right after hilary made the comment about giving her nominations to barack because she is a woman and mccains stupid *** thinks he can get the hilary vote./feminist vote, which im sure some retarded voters will choose mccain for his decision but im not worried about them.  is obvious who will lead our country for the next four years.  we need barack.

  7. Palin is denying any wrong doing in this case...  The McCain campaign agrees with her.

However, this analysis will probably not affect anyone with an avatar that says "McCain is a liar"....

You just go ahead and vote for Obama...  If he wins you'll be getting exactly what you deserve...

  8. "claims" Doesn't mean it is true and even if it is who cares.. the guy probably was fired for cause and is now blaming his ex sister in law becasue he is bitter..

  9. So far just about everyone on this post has this wrong, maybe you should just google her and find out exactly who was fired and why. Doesn't matter what party you belong too, but there is way to many lies and half truths on both sides, plus so much left out. The ex brother in law/trooper was a creep, but he was punished and divorced a couple of years ago and still she was not satisfied and her husband stepped in. The offical then was told to fire him and he refused because it was already a done deal way after the fact. Please check it out.

  10. Abuse of power, h**l she'll fit right in with the GOP GOB network. Could be that McShame promised to keep her out of jail...heh heh...for a price.

  11. *groan* Palin has already addressed this issue, and welcomes the investigation because she asserts she has nothing to hide.  Honestly, you liberals are embarrassing yourselves.

  12. Of course he knew.  Being investigated isn't the same as being guilty.  That McCain picked her shows how confident they are that the claims have no merit.

You should try to find dirt a little more meaningful, if you can.  When she's cleared, what then will you have?

  13. I don't if McCain knew or not but it will be interesting watching her go through her abuse of power trial while she's on the campaign trail. She's to be deposed soon.

  14. Not quite the white knight McCain is portraying her as, hmm?

  15. There isn't a state investigation against her.  There's a private investigation against her.  Her brother-in-law, a state trooper, hit his son with a taser and threatened to kill an Alaskan resident. I don't think it's an officer of the law's place to hit a child with a taser or to intimidate the populace.  Sure, his son asked for the taser hit, but where does that end?  If his 11-year-old son asked to be beaten with a collapsible baton, should his father oblige?

I guess you and I disagree on that.

  16. McCain is "INSANE-in-the-MEMBRANE!"

  17. SHE HAD HIM FIRED BECAUSE

    A POACHED A MOOSE,

SHOOT HIS STEP SON WITH A TASER

    AND MADE DEATH THREATS!!

  18. Wow, you really don't know what you're talking about.  McCain met with her more than ONCE and she never abused her power.  Let their investigation be done before you condemn her with information you know nothing about.

  19. I think he pulled her name out of a hat

  20. She said it's cool with her if they want to investigate, she has nothing to hide.  Obviously McCain knows everything publically known about her.  This is pretty much the only baggage she has and it isn't really even baggage if she didn't do it, which it seems like she's not worried at all.  When you are a public figure people can make all kinds of accusations at you, that doesn't mean it is true.
