that was her way of trying to get the Christian votes, like she wants the soccer moms votes(lame), she is exploiting her new baby to get the parents with disabled children's vote(sick) and she wants to get the votes for women who let the daughter drink and get pregnant under her excellent PTA care. Good luck Palin, you'll need it.

It's a general believe that God wants the best for us and everybody.

Saying that keeping you living in a safe place is a task given to them by God doesn't make her a God's spokesperson. It only shows her commitment to improve Americans' living conditions is a commitment that goes beyond money or fame. It's a moral driven commitment.

Why Obama sounds like a Messiah??

Well, because his speeches are written by former JFK speech writer. Why are they failing? Because JFK times are NOT our times. Those times are gone. Our reality is different now.

It is called hyperbole.  All politicians use it in one way or another, and many charismatic [protestant] denominations believe that God speaks to [all] individuals through their feelings & their intuition. Since she was addressing the congregation at the church, they may have thought that she was weak, and her faith was weak, if she did NOT speak with this level of conviction.
