  1. Source please?

  2. Ronald Reagan was an actor who could talk a good game.

Toward the end of his administration he wasn't even capable of governing the Country.

I think he was one of the worst Presidents we've had.

  3. This isn't true and I believe you know it.

  4. No, it was a crime! And that was even after Hezbollah, at the behest of Iran, blew up a barracks killing over 200 Marines. Bush just cut and ran!

Even Bush was selling F-14 fighter parts to Iran up until a year ago! They are the only country that uses that jet!

"Iran-contra affair, in U.S. history, secret arrangement in the 1980s to provide funds to the Nicaraguan contra rebels from profits gained by selling arms to Iran. The Iran-contra affair was the product of two separate initiatives during the administration of President Ronald Reagan. The first was a commitment to aid the contras who were conducting a guerrilla war against the Sandinista government of Nicaragua. The second was to placate “moderates” within the Iranian government in order to secure the release of American hostages held by pro-Iranian groups in Lebanon and to influence Iranian foreign policy in a pro-Western direction" http://www.infoplease.com/ce6/history/A0...

"The Republic of Nicaragua v. The United States of America[1] was a case heard in 1986 by the International Court of Justice which ruled in favor of Nicaragua and against the United States. As part of its judgment, the World Court awarded reparations to Nicaragua. The World Court found that the U.S. had violated international law by supporting Contra guerrillas in their war against the Nicaraguan government and by mining Nicaragua's harbors. The Court ruled in Nicaragua's favor after the States lost the argument that the ICJ lacked jurisdiction to hear the case, and refused to participate. It later blocked enforcement making attempts at obtaining compliance futile.[2]

The court found in its legal verdict that the US was "in breach of its obligations under customary international law not to use force against another State," "not to intervene in its affairs," "not to violate its sovereignty," "not to interrupt peaceful maritime commerce," and "in breach of its obligations under Article XIX of the Treaty of Friendship, Commerce and Navigation between the Parties signed at Managua on 21 January 1956."
