Why did Robert F. Kennedy's speech on the assassination of Martin Luther King stopped the world?

  1. It was a shock.  Both RFK and MLK wanted peace and equality. They stood for the same principals.  When RFK made the speech it just made it seem even more sad.

    Our country would have been a totally different place had RFK lived.  I mourn for our country in that respect.
