What do you think the real reasons are? And is the United States, France, and Britain wrong for pursing sanctions?

  1. Because they dont like us and we are trying to establish a puppet leader in their country to actually make it civilized but they won't see it happen because they're poor commie b******s.

  2. Not sure about Russia unless it was done in solidarity with China but China has invested a lot of money in the country in order to feed its huge appetite for minerals and does not care whether or not elections were valid.

No, it (persuing sanctions) was the right thing to do but, in reality, South Africa is the local power that needs to turn the screws as the UN sanctions would be mainly symbolic.

Yes, the sanctions WOULD reach the big guy; they were to prevent travel by members of the government and to kick them out of UN and government functions until a true settlement was reached - basically isolate the government worldwide.

  3. Truthfully, because while they can get sanctions in this case and they would really harm the country.  It would be the people there who would suffer more than anyone.  Sanctions in Zimbabwe would never reach Mugabe.

  4. Because Vladimir Putin doesn't care about black people!! (...and, do they have oil?)

  5. Because they are some communists SOB!

  6. Russia and China seem to be vetoing every good idea that the US or Europe comes with.  The two countries appear to be sticking together to take power away from the other security council members.
