  1. Would you rather pay a higher gas bill for a higher priced company to do it?

  2. b/c we have a thing called competition in this country.

  3. Because it was cheaper and it would save tax dollars. Very stupid question, I mean, you are truly grasping at straws.

  4. Shes all for free market, low bid, most qualified.  Save the taxpayers some money.

  5. I bet you purchase made in China every day. Why give your work away to the Chinese?

Probably because Pipeline will go through their country, it was probably part of the deal.

  6. Could it be that most of that pipeline will be in Canada. It's supposed to take gas from Alaska to Edmonton Alberta. So it is in fact an international pipeline. In case you forgot we  have free trade with Canada.

  7. Probably because they were the lowest bidder.

  8. I don't know how Alaska works, but my city in NJ, we have to take the lowest bid regardless of what town they are from.     It's probably the same there on a much larger scale.   I'm sure they would hope for their own people to have the best numbers, but doesn't always happen.

  9. the 44-year-old Palin, who was selected as Sen. John McCain's running mate today, is now the focus of her own state ethics investigation as part of the so-called "Troopergate" scandal, a bizarre controversy involving the firing of a state police chief and his reluctance to fire an Alaska state trooper, Palin's former brother-in-law who has been involved in a bitter custody fight with her younger sister.

  10. ...because...um...she's an idiot?
