Why did Satan want Moses' Body ?

Because he wanted Moses to become an object of worship by Israel instead of God, much like he used the golden calf to direct their worship away from God and to an idol instead  - idolatry.

Wouldn't have anything to do with him being resurrected BODILY in the future, would it?  

And maybe being a WITNESS OF JESUS?

1 cor 10:1-4

Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;

And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;

And did all eat the same spiritual meat;

And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.

EDIT - Virginia's answer makes sense.... especially since the JW's believe that Jehovah did who knows what with Jesus' body...and if he was "just a man" or "another god" then Satan would SURELY want to get people to worship the body...yet there's no mention of Satan fighting for his body!

Especially because he was RESURRECTED BODILY and ascended into heaven.  

Seems satan instead tries to get the attention OFF Jesus, not on him.

Virginia's answer actually does make sense. .

This is another Bible conundrum. If Satan had wanted to he could have made a duplicate of Moses body and try to counter what God had told the Jews.

Didn't the demons materialize human body's so they could have s*x with humans? If they had the ability to do that, they could have made a "Moses" if they wanted. Heck, Disney can do it!

"But wait, God prevented that!" Why? he didn't prevent the Demons from making other bodies, which raises two interesting points:

1- There are so many facets to this that it makes the whole story of Moses and Satan, unlikely and therefore the Bible again shoots itself in the foot....and

2- There is no s*x in heaven, but apparently there is "heaven" in s*x as the demons or angels wanted to come here and have s*x.

My question is when all you Christians get to heaven, are you going to miss s*x? In that case, so many women, so little time!! Better get started!!

I'm way ahead of you by the way. It's not the destination but the journey.
