Why did Sean Hannity deny knowing Hal Turner?

Question

This is not an ideological question, first of all. Hal Turner used to be a frequent guest on Hannity's radio show in New York. Wouldn't it be wise for Hannity just to say, "I knew him, which I regret" instead of lying about the association? Hal Turner has been quoted saying people should, "round up and kill Jews (cited)" and that Americans have an obligation to assassinate politicians and judges (cited). How did this guy get the republican nomination for New Jersey's 13th congressional district (again, cited)?

Perhaps "smart mouth" should review the lies made by legions of non-conservative types (Liberal Democrats just like Pelosi and company to get elected in '06, and whom no doubt she voted for)) before making herself into a raving, ignorant fool.

But she toes her party line in asserting that we "need a Dem government" because of just this very thing.

I would remind her to look at New Orleans of an example of "Democratic" rule and the dismal failure her precious Dem government provided for those Democrat people that lived there.

Oh, WAIT!!! I forgot! Katrina was all the Republicans fault.

Excuse me while I go vomit.

Because Sean Hannity is a liar as well as a sensationalist.  Who cares if he knew Hal Turner?  If he was a guest on the show so what?  Hannity is just a coward. Of course Hal is a bit extreme.  But, to be a sissy and deny you know the guy yet try to carry off the tough guy act on televesion is a bunch of bullsh*t!  It is the same as Mark Furmen when he denied using the "N" word during the O.J. Trial.  

Everyone has friends that have views not the norm.  Are we to deny them as friends?  No.  That is one of the reasons why Obama lost credibility among many blacks, he tried to deny Rev. Wright.  

By the way Hal was elected in the 13th district because he has quite a bit of supporters there.  Many may not support some of his extreme views, but people in New Jersey are tired of police corruption, the broke local govt, the take over of illegal aliens etc.  They are willing to vote for someone who will stand up for him.  But the dangerous part of this scenario is the reason how dictators come into power.  Remember Hitler promised the German people bring build up the military, increase economic opportunities, and restore German nationalism.  Many German people were not anti-semitic but wanted a better life after the Treaty of Versaille.  Therefore, they were willing to ignore the dangerous messages of the n**i party.

Sorry to say many people are feeling that way today.  That is one of the reasons why we need a goverment of DEMOCRATIC REPRESENTATION AND RULE OF THE PEOPLE, which was the whole idea of the Constitution and the vision of the American Republic as seen by Washington, Monroe, Jefferson and Franklin.
