He's been changing ever since he won the first title in 2000, because that's when he stopped caring about staying in shape and playing basketball and more about showing off. The Lakers just never were as hungry after the first title, that's why they often followed Shaq and took the regular season off.

Because he thought he could make the Lakers franchise and organization feel like they did a VERY big mistake. Don't look like a mistake now.

Shaq didn't change until after they lost in the playoffs following the 2006 championship season run.. The heat's losing season, then being traded to the suns and losing is a good reason to start doing douchbaggery antics..
