  1. Iguoldala and Pierce didn't give the 2 year commitment. And Prince can shoot the 3 and play defense and is 6-9 so he can play PF some.

  2. i know andre iguodala should have been on

  3. He's a great, versatile defender. Some of the international teams have forwards who lack bulk. Prince will have the size to guard them. While someone like Paul Pierce is stronger, he's not tall enough to guard any power forwards. Prince has the athleticism to guard power forwards, small forwards, and shooting guards. He's also been a very clutch shooter in recent years and has been reliable when someone gives him the ball. The team already has enough ballhandlers, so someone can easily set him up with shots.

  4. He's there to be a defender, which is forte.  He can defend the 1, 2, and 3 solidly, and he can also defend many 4's as well, especially the growing amount of PF's who are like 6'10" but are very lanky.  His versatility will be needed, especially if the US's top players get in foul trouble or if LeBron, Melo, or Wade get hurt.

  5. He made the team cause he's a GOOD b-ball player!

  6. Clutch-D.You won't believe how many times he blocked a shot that could tie or took the lead in the last minutes.

Just because some idiot said that the Olympic Team in 2008 is a dream team doesn't mean you have to be a idiot like him too.The name "Dream Team" was given to the 1992 Team USA after their total domination of the Olympics.

  7. He's a role player, especially on the defensive end.  It's what the USA Team has been lacking.  Role players.

  8. thay arent the dream team

    i dont know over pierce

  9. I really think they could have selected a better player, but T.Prince is an all around good player. Team USA does not need a team full of superstars that can score, they need an even balance of scorers, defensive players, and leaders. As you can see T.Prince falls into the defensive category and occasionally he can score in bunches. He is a good addition to the team considering he is coming off the bench.

  10. He doesn't need to score with all the scorers or rebound.. Prince just needs to play defense when he's on the floor and that's pretty much the thing USA needs. Another defender who can guard the perimeter and inside..

  11. i asked the same question to my self. That spot should have gone to like A. Stoudimire or Chandler

  12. He was chosen. Have you ever even seen a basketball game?

  13. Dream Team?

Thanks!  That's the first time someone called me that!

    Think Happy Thoughts!

  14. their called the Redeem Team

  15. Its called the redeem team. And why did Tayshaun get selected? CUSE HES A BEAST DEFENSE, THATS WHY. He brings that defensive flair that Carmelo and LeBron dont have.

  16. they should have gotten Josh Smith if they wanted real defense and hes a over size SG and pretty much shut down any player

  17. He plays great defense and they're not called the Dream Team

  18. he is a very underrated player. he is a young wing player who can get out of the fast break and thats what the team needs. he's a good finisher, a decent rebounder and a very versatile scorer. he is also an amazing defender. he is an all around player. which is what the usa team needs.

  19. when jerry colangelo put the team together he didnt just go for the scorers and the superstars... he went for players that he thought would be a good fit for international play and with tayshaun's length and size he was a good fit

  20. kwame brown should be on the USA team!!!
