Why did Ted Nugent avoid the military but now wants all young people to serve in the military?

In 1966 Mr Ted did not want to serve. (He was Rich at the time) I, on the other hand, was very poor so I had to serve. So why does Mr Ted talk so tough now?

Ted Nugent is a blow hard that kills and talks garbage to make up for some other short comings in his life.  I would imagine that inside he is very insecure and probably unsure about his sexuality.

Nugent and 94% of all males, did not serve in the military during Vietnam.

not sure about now, but back then he probably just thought that hey I got money what do i need to go into the military for, I got all I want right now, then after 9/11 kicked up his patriotism so he promotes military
