Why did Caroline Wozniacki play at the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix at Stuttgart when her injured ankle was clearly still impeding her movement?

Wozniacki injured her ankle at Charleston earlier this month, and it seems to have flared up during the match. The world No. 2 plays a pretty heavy workload, and it probably would have been a wiser choice to rest the ankle a little longer.
