Doesn't abkhaz and ossetian nations consider themselves Caucasian people? Couldn't they live together civilized and hospitable Georgians?

I desire that my questions will be answered by the all Caucasian peoples.

(Russians and others can also notify their own opinion).

At last don't forget to put down your nation.

For example: Basayev from Chechnya.

By the way, I'm from Azerbaijan Republic.

  1. what?  Georgians slaughtered people in ossetia?

you must be lying, cuz I didn't see anything about that on all the major news channels here in US, like CNN, nbc.

  2. Caucasian means white doesn't it? Why are non-whites not allowed to answer?

Anyway, cos they wanted to. They wanted independence, and Russia provided the brute force necessary.

  3. After georgians killed thousands of them starting from 1992 ?

I think, that would be a long way to reconciliation.

  4. There was a war between Georgia and Ossetia in 1991 and between Georgia and Abkhazia too.

The slogan for that war was "Georgia must be for Georgians"

There was a bloodshed which cannot be easily forgotten.

And now Georgia tried to do it again.

So I doubt they will forget it soon.

As for the Russia they were the peacekeeping force in that region and helped a lot to the people: refugees ran into Russia, humanitarian aid and Russia will probably help to rebuild Ossetia after Georgia destroyed the ossetian villages and the capital.

  5. The people of these provinces favor Russia. The president of Georgia is an a$$ for terrorizing them.

  6. Oh sure, that would be great after Georgia massacred civilians in both regions. That's why Ossetia and Ahkbazia would rather side with Russia than those ruthless Georgians. Nobody needs them. Didn't Azerbaijan get their butts handled to the Armenians back in '94? I thought so.
