  1. Because George W. Bush has always been unapologetic-ally conservative. Now that he is wildly unpopular it is only natural that candidates who label themselves as "change" or "reform" candidates, who distance themselves from what is today in America referred to as "conservatism" would succeed.

  2. i always believed they did the opposite.  That makes me ultra liberal.

  3. The voters realized that we had already had way too much Bush to last for a lifetime.  What the poor Republican voters didn't realize is that McCain voted for the Bush machine 90% of the time.  Even worse, he is a large reason why we are still stuck in Iraq.

  4. They tried to get as far from the Bush administration as possible.

  5. Obama knows nothing about bi partisianship he posseses the most liberal voting record in the US Senate as opposed to McCain that knows through hard won experience  that coming to an equitable compromise at times is the only way to get things done in Politics.  Obama even if elected will paint himself into a corner that he will never be able to escape from. Kind of the same way his campaign is going at the moment isnt it?

  6. Palin is definately NOT liberal.

For starters she is against the whole idea of abortions.

Abortion is a freedom of choice, a matter of liberty, and therefore fits more with the Liberal ideology.

She is also a supporter of the Republican ideal of everyone taking part in civic duty and military service.
