Why did carlos boozer play so little in the olympic?

Team USA needed a presence in the post... That just did not make sense. I think Laettner played more in 92!

Who cares, I hardly watched the any of the basketball games. And it is more then likely that I will never watch any Olympic basketball games.  At least until the competition get evened up.

with the 3 point line so close and the use of zone defense,

a post player at the 4 is a little more difficult.

Howard was used as a defender and finisher and so was Bosh. There wasn't many plays ran for either in the post.

The 4 spot in the international game is a lot different, and that is why Lebron and Melo played in that spot much of the time.

Have you thought for a second that maybe his presence was not needed.Think his bothered by it? After all he came away with a Gold Medal.
