  1. Well..there are different theories. none of which I'm 100% familiar with. However i think they became extinct due to extreme weather conditions. or like a cataclysmic event. Like maybe a severe drought over a long period of time, causing their environment to become arid. Ice age maybe?

  2. 1.  They're not completely extinct.  Birds are an offshoot of Class Dinosauria.

    2.  Dinosaurs (and a lot of other different kinds of creatures) became extinct as a result of "nuclear winter" darkness caused by a meteor strike at the end of the Cretaceous.

    Google for "Chicxulub."

  3. They had too many SUVs and Gulfstreams running which increased the CO2 content of their atmosphere causing more rainfall (which required heavy cloud cover which caused higher albedo which reflected more of the sun's radiated heat which caused the global temperature to fall which caused the ice age which wiped 'em all out).

    !

  4. the aliens killed them with their lasers

  5. Science says tat they were wiped out by a comet, but i think the got a disease

  6. No one knows but I think that when the meter hit the earth that it blocked out the sun causing all plants to die. Then when the Herbivores couldn't find food they became weak and died. Then the carnivores couldn't find any food they could have killed there own kind causing some of them to die and later on all the dinosaurs became extinct.

  7. That's a good question.......I would like to hear some great answers. I stopped in Utah about 10 years ago and the guy their couldn't give me a solid answer.......but there's 300 flesh eaters all buried very close together, and only 3 of them have bite marks on their bones.........so something must of happened fairly quickly.........and they were not as mean as they make them out to be.......at least not to each other.......soooo........lets hope for some good answers.

  8. Don,t you watch MP,s on telly.

  9. different people belive different things but charles darwin who came up with the theory of natural selection came up with the theory of as the world developed abit more and evolution carried on the dinosaurs could not change and co-exist with the world around them so therefore if they could not change the world did and they just became extinct. Also, there is a theorie that as the dinosaurs started to change to they could fit into the world a giant comet or asteroid hit the earth and killed of plants, animals and the dinosaurs along with them.

another theorie is that the weather conditions started to get worse as the amound of carbon dioxide escaped the earths surface and because the dinosaurs lived with such a big amount of Co2 the change was too sore for the dinosaurs and became extinct

  10. Dinosaurs (as we know them) most likely became extinct from the aftermath of an asteroid impact that occurred at the end of the Cretaceous period. Besides the devastation caused at the time of impact (some scientists claim that the asteroid impact actually incinerated the air and created a massive blast radius), the asteroid would have thrown massive amounts of debris in the air which drastically changed the Earth's climate for years to come. Animals that did not die in the initial impact, died from this. However, not every dinosaur died. Evidence of this are modern birds, the direct descendants of dinosaurs.

  11. people say climate change

dinosaurs had habitat eg: everything has habitat

they couldn't survive with a different climate

this is the most said theory

  12. Crater from outer space crashed into earth with so much force that dust clouds covered the sky. the sky was covered for so long that plants started to die. when the plants died, the herbivores [plant eating dinosaurs] died. the carnivores ate the herbivores until there was nothing else to eat, so they either killed each other for food or some starved to death.

  13. Well, dinosaurs did not exist. The aliens who populated earth left bones from the animals on the planet to fool us.

  14. My theory is.   Massive volcanic eruptions, pouring out huge amounts of volcanic ash.   This engulfed the earth for many years, blocking out sunlight.   The earth got very cold, and was covered in deep snow.   When the volcanic ash finally cleared, the white of the surface of the earth, deflected the suns rays, preventing the earth from warming up.   So. The earth just kept getting colder and colder, and caused an ice age.   Dinosaurs are reptiles, and need heat to warm their bodies, without it they just died.  Also with no vegetation the herbivores would have nothing to eat, and carnivores would only have each other.

  15. No one really knows.

Some scientists say that it was probably caused by climate change. The weather became just too cold for the dinosaurs to live and they just died. Smaller and more versitile animals and insects such as flies, ants, turtles, frogs, and crocodiles all survived.

  16. because they couldn't adapt the change in the environment

  17. because a meteor struck the earth, the amount of dust created made the skies go black for many years.thus the plant life died . The herbivores died and the carnivores swiftly followed.
