Why did doctor tell me to eat yogurt?

I just came from the doctor and she said I have bronchitis and maybe a touch of pneumonia. She put me on an antibiotic...Azitromax...and told me to eat yogurt. Why the yogurt? I felt too lousy to ask at the time.

  2. Antibiotics can give you yeast infections (whether your a boy or girl) and yogurt helps this yeast from forming...whenever you take antibiotics you should eat yogurt to prevent this because it is quite common!

  10. I hope that you are a female. Well some how antibiotics can cause yeast affections and a dairy product like yogurt has antioxidants that can clear that affection.
