  1. The Writer's Strike and they think it will earn more money in the box office if it is released during the summer.

  2. To capitalize on blockbuster summertime moving going and, possibly, to squash the 2nd Twilight book, "Eclipse" supposedly coming next Aug.

  3. Warner Brothers is claiming that because of the writer's strike earlier this year, the blockbusters they were planning to release in the summer of 2009 now will not be ready at that time. Therefore, Harry Potter will have to fill that void. It sucks, I know. But hey, we have Twilight on November 21st!! Yayyyy!!!

  4. I read an article (I can't find it now I've looked) but they gave 2 reasons.

Reason #1 is that they are putting it out the same weekend that Batman premiered this year

Reason #2 is that if it comes out next year, there is less wait time between HBP and the last two movies.  The last two are supposed to be filming back to back and to be released in 2010 and 2011.

They said the movie is 100% complete.

I will keep looking for the article and post the link if I find it

  5. Idk but I'm so mad at them. So what if he was naked Idk and I'm so mad!
