why did dhoni get man of the match for the game against delhi he scored a run a ball thirty which was not a match winning performance when a guy like albie morkel took two wickets and made 30 of 15 balls dhoni never took any catches also and he didnt see him team through to the end

Like a lot of well known sportsmen, he only had to turn up to get MOM. We have been plagued with several in rugby league here over the years. I don't know who selects MOMs but they should get a reality check at times.

I know wat you mean mate, i really do. n i wondered so when i actually saw him being presented w/the MOM award.

But in a way i think he deserved it: First he managed to restrict DD to a chasable total even though the fielding did not oblige his efforts as captain.

CSK was running away with the game when Vidyut and Fleming were batting. but when both of them and Raina departed in quick sucsession, CSK were facing another collapse characteristic of their poor batting performances during the 3 previous matches. Yeah, I know it was Albie who provided the momentum which in the end proved to be decisive. But Dhoni was very intent on winning this game when he played the ball along the ground on more occasions than not. Also lets feel for the skipper who lost three in a row after being @ the top of the table for some time. It must have bn a great relief for the guy n an MOM woulda increased his confidence no end.

Cricket as we all no is @ times very controversial. And this compared to other incidents is ...well close to nothing. So why should we complain about it? Anyuways we dont know for sure what the MOM selectors had in mind!!!

I do not agree with this MoM award given to Dhoni. Morkel for

his 2 wkts and 30 off 15 balls or Gambhir 80 off 49 balls should

have got it.

May be the guy who decides the MoM was on weeds to just

say Dhoni's name.....how rude it has been.

yeah i was also bemused by the decision Albie was awesome he took 2 wickets and could have got another if the fielding was better plus he was explosive with the bat he deserved man of the match or you have given it to gony for winning the match in the last over they needed 15 which is not easy plus he took a wicket

dude i totally know what you mean he made 33 of 33 balls he didnt take any catches and he never make inspired moves in the field he got out at the worst time possible and was lucky gony spared him blushes in the last over of course sehwag did them a favour bowling malik but hey albie definitely deserved the man of the match award

as far as i noe, MoM award is nt considered on d basis of d players of d winning team. in dat case, Gambhir truly deserved d award... i dnt find erven a single silly reason 4 felicitating Dhoni!

.He worked the hardest for

the  CSK

He  was  given  the MoM  for  his hard working run a ball 33

and for having kept wickets for 20 overs  as well,not  getting to do any stumping or catching doesn't matter.

I completely agree with  Dhoni being awarded MoM

It  is  high  time keeper-batsmen got their  due.
