Why did i dreamed about this girl, that i haven't remember in a Year?

(This is what happened in real life, if it helps)

We only had something very small, it’s probably nothing and that was it. I remember that I liked her a lot and I think she liked me too I am not really sure about it, she was always very nice and smiled to me and kind of look sad when I ignored her or didn’t talk to her. Ohh and she was very good soccer player, I will explain later.

(This is my dream)

In my dream I remember that I was with my family in a very elegant house it was a dark day. She was deciding whether to join a first division or second division team. I remember advising her about what to take and where to go and so did my dad, I was like mad in love with her and I remember that she was the same for me but she didn't show it she was shy just like me. I remember that after my parents went away she went to the washroom and I rush in with her where I started touching her and kissing and we even had s*x.

The funny thing is that before going to sleep I was feeling alone even if I have a girlfriend (We are fine we are not fighting or anything like that). And when I woke up I remember missing her a lot. And like I said its being a year since I talked to her, or since I remember her.

dreams are caused by residual thoughts in the mind and dreams actually occur in the  brain stem. My best guess is that you subconsciously miss her weather you want to concisely want to admit it or not. and I'm also guessing it's been awhile since you've had s*x because the brain mixes things it's been thinking in dreams.
