Why did some of the cast of the movie "Poltergeist" mysteriously died?

I heard that they filmed on an actual location of some sort of Poltergeist activity... I'm not sure if it's true though. But prehaps it shall remain a mystery? There are heaps of different suggestions, some people even think that they were murdered - though most probably think it was all a coincidence...

I don't know, but I've love to hear the truth about it!

Two died, Heather O Rourke became really sick towards the end of the third movie but that could have been a number a reasons. Poor thing she was so cute. And Dominique Dunn was in an abusive relationship she was trying to break out off. The guy was crazy and jealous and killed her in a heat of passion. Its an urban legend that they died from the movie.

There was actually an hour long tv show about the supposed curse on the Poltergeist cast - it's been a while, but I think it aired on A&E. JoBeth Williams (the mom) said that everything was fine until the scene with the dead bodies in caskets in the unfinished swimming pool. She said that she, and the rest of the cast, had no idea until afterwards that the bodies were not just props, they were real, and that after that is when everything got bizarre. They actually had someone come in and bless the set, but they all still felt uneasy.

But the only death that was really surprising was the little girl. The girl who played the older sister was killed by her abusive boyfriend that her family had long wanted her to get rid of, and the other two were older with diseases they knew would take them eventually. Some say it is a coincidence that they died while filming the movie just as Bruce Lee died filming Enter the Dragon and then his son dies filming The Crow.   I believe that there are unforeseen forces at work that we know nothing about so I am not about to question anything least I become next :0D

Because they let their fear and doubt work with the fear of others and pave a path to destruction that should not have existed had they not basically accepted it.
