  1. it was pretty badly raining and i was thinking that if terry scored, chelsea would have won, but the pressure was too much, i don't blame him

  2. It was raining off and on all game long and the ground was wet not to mention it should have been the winning PK of the game so im sure he was nervous.  Im an Arsenal fan but I hate United and felt sorry for JT.

  3. Was the ground slippy, or is that too obvious

  4. cause terry is not a good shooter,he cant kick the ball very well, altought hes the best df player in the world

  5. he found a penny on the ground.

  6. I'm a Chelsea fan and although very disappointed at the result was well impressed with JT. he was just unfortunate with that slip but played as he always does, with great pride. This season we will lift the CL  title

  7. simple...he is clumsy and he can't handle pressure

  8. He slipped on a banana peel!

  9. slippery ground and short studs say no more.....

  10. Cuz the grass was wet.

  11. because he plays for chelsea theefore hes stupid

  12. Karma. He spat on Tevez during the kerfuffle about Drogba's mincing poof slap on Vidic, and got what he deserved.

Oh, and captain of England? Do me a favour. We need someone who can run through walls if necessary, not some nancy who blubs like a schoolgirl when he makes a balls of his penalty. Can you imagine Roy Keane blubbing like that in front of hundreds of millions of people? He'd rather gouge his own eyes out.

  13. GENES

  14. I think bad luck or pressure. I hate the fact though that the next day me manc mates were acting like they were amazing and deserved it. I will probs get a load of c**p off mancs now but I don't think they did. Not just because I'm a Liverpool fan but Chelsea hit the woodwork twice and John Terry slipped on a pen which woulda won it for them. Barca were unlucky against united in semis cos messi tore them apart.

  15. It was a total Carlsberg moment!!!

    Couldn't have happened to a nice ***

"Here's the England Captain stepping up to win it for Chelsea"

    LOL LOL

  16. He was loaded with pressure. Im sure he was extremely nervous, and the pitch was wet.

He probably took a wrong step, and his foot gave in.

He played an amazing game, but in the end, everyone knows Manchester United is the besst team. :D

John Terry had nothing to be ashamed of, even though he plays for Chelsea :P

  17. well slipper ground of course

and alot of the other players could have made sure

they didnt slip, mainly to alot of experience in football

john terry was under alot of pressure to not miss

he might have not realized he should have kept his footing down

also alot of players were jumping on the ground near the penalty to get the water out and make it harder so they wouldnt slip

  18. Because he wanted to give the champion to Man You, Chelsea didn't want to win so soon and then Grant will be sacked. Chelsea destined not to win

  19. I blame Uri Geller

  20. money

  21. If you watch it over again, he stuffed his final foot placement.

He put his foot down right on the side, and leather on wet grass don't really grip well.

    It actually looks quite painful.
