Why did maradona never get a haircut?

Seriously, in every video I see him with the same afro and even recently I saw him with the same afro. I mean long hair looks good on messi but maradona just had it puffy. Maybe to score hand goals ? LOL

Well you forget the 80's had some insane styles. Take the Mullet for example lol. Though he did have short hair in the 1994 World Cup in USA. Heres a picture for you:

I have to say though, his long hair was significant to football fans. I could never imagine him without it.
