Why did mr.bush walk back to the next barber shop?

mr bush was driving through a strange town when he decided to stop, park his car, and get a haircut. he asked a little boy where he could find a barbershop.we have only two barbers in town,said the boy.one of the is on the north end of main street and the other is on the south.mr bush walked north on main street until he reached the barbershop.it looked as if Hasn't''t been cleaned for months. cut hair was all over the floor. the barber himself needed a shave and his haircut looked terrible so he walked to the south end barber. it looked neat and cheerful inside.the floor had been swept and barber had a nice hair cut and was dressed neatly.why did mr bush walk back to the other barber shop to get his haircut?

The clean barber shop was his own barber shop. he cant cut his own hair so he had to go to the other one to get it cut.

Because the messy shop indicates that it gets a lot of business, and he unshaven barber is in such demand, and is so busy with customers that he has little time to shave his own face.  

The clean shop, on the other hand, is clean because there are no customers.  Likely, that barber has a nice haircut because he goes the the barber at the north end of the street.  He's clean because he hasn't done any work.

The guy wants to go to the barber that is doing better business.

Because the south-end barber must've done the north barber's hair, and visa-versa.
