Why did my Maytag dryer quit working, & what can I do to fix it myself?

The interior light goes on, but no display lights (cycle, timer, start, etc). I have checked the vents & the fusebox & unplugged it for 30 min. What now?

Why would you want to fix it ?  I personally would rather stay home and have a cute little Maytag man in a uniform come out to the house for a service call . LOL .  Hope that makes you smile!

Maybe call their hotline or the place where you purchased ?  See if they can help you troubleshoot over the phone.

Good Luck .  Hopefully, it will be something simple.  In this day and age, last think any of us need is a major purchase that is unexpected.

If it is still under warranty you could give the manufacturer a call and see what to do next. They may void the warranty if you try to fix it yourself.
