I was watching TV today, and earlier it was fine. Now there is a red hue covering everything and now it bugging my eyes just looking at it. Does this mean it's trashed? Or is there a way to fix this? Thanks!

  1. Need more info--brand--age--size.

If you're using a high def cable box though--check the wires--switch the red and green or whichever.  I've seen tons of bad component video cables provided by the cable company causing issues like this----missing a color--probably blue

Ok--its a crt based set.  Does this red hue look like you put on red sun glasses or does it look like you have some red areas out of alignment---seperated--creating a red shadow?

Shadow?  Convergence Amp ICs  Qty 2  part number stk392-040.  Expect repait to cost $250-$375.

Sunglasses?  Defective red picture tube.  Samsung tubes are priced pretty well if it's available.  Expect $400-$550.  Most any shop should be able to provide estimate for either problem on phone.
