When I was five or six, my family and I used to own a cockatiel. He was my brother's bird and I noticed that every so often the bird would pluck out his feathers to the extent that he would bleed. Why would he do this? Any time I tried to hold him on my finger, he would bite my finger so hard that it would start bleeding. Any advice would be helpful. No wise cracks please.
