I've had a stressful day and just eaten a heavy dinner. So I went to bed and right before i fell deep asleep I felt my whole body shake. I immediately woke up and I have a feeling of lost of energy. I also feel like I need to throw up. Why is this?

  1. Your Enigma is right, take his/her advice. It's your probably one of your body's shutting down mechanisms, a stage where your body is almost totally relaxed, perhaps an involuntary body spasm, it's happened to me. Scared my husband to death because it made my body " jump " as my husband put it.

I prefer to refer to it as " involuntary body popping " *lol*

    Good Luck. X :-)

  2. It's usually a stage in sleep. Though is this persists and seems to get worse, it should probably be safer to consult with your doctor.

    Best of luck to you.

  3. yeah its just something that happens always as you fall asleep but you probably just noticed it for the first time.  it is a stage of sleep..but nothing to worry about unless like the other person said that it persists or gets worse and doesnt let you sleep.

  4. Oh man i hate that it scares the c**p out of me, i will be half asleep but then i will be kind of like dreaming of somthing like running and falling down, than my body will just jump! Its so weird especially when i am half asleep and i kind of know wut is going on around me.
