Why did my fish die????

Question

I had a pregnant female Lyretail molly and she just died this morning! She wasn't doing good since I got her Saturday, she slept alot (well, I thought, she was still breathing, but she wasnt moving too much). Why did she die?

Well it could be many things are absolutely sure she is pregnant?

It could have been some sort of parasite (probably not likely)...

Was your tank cycled?

It could have been shock from different water parameters...

temperature, ph...

it Might've been the shock of moving her. Some fish can die like that, and make sure that you release them into your tank properly, that could make alot of difference and could help keep your fish healthy.

it coud of been from the sudenn change you probaley should have got a non pregnant one. or the temprature. sinse it was pregnant at the store. i probaley didnt want to leave their considering it got pregnant their.

She could of died from various reasons

like the temperature in your aquarium wasn't right for her (shock)

She may have died because there weren't enough of her kind (lonely)

She may have died of disease

Maybe one of your other fish was picking on her or biting her

She might of died because of stress from the move from the pet store

Not enough oxygen

moving a pregnet fish from a pet store can cause to give birth early (miscarry) and that can kill her

and sometimes they just die
