  1. it died because you frose it to death...in some states thats first degree murder...sucks for you!

  2. http://www.wetwebmedia.com/fwsubwebindex...

    Hopefully that helps.

  3. Ok. So if you were 30 degrees over your recommended temp, that means, what it was almost a hundred degrees?  Yep. That would have killed it for sure.

Goldfish are coldwater fish.  They should be at about 70-75F.

They need LARGE tanks (NO BOWLS!) and good filtration.  They get big, are dirty and have very high oxygen requirements.

If you chose to get another goldfish, make sure you have at least a 20 gallon, a filter rated for a 30-40 gallon tank and no heater.  Clean weekly with a siphon and feed only once a day.

  4. I think that the water might have been to warm, because the light was to strong. Fish, especially brightly colored fish lose their color, their scales get bleached out, the temp. should be like 70-75. Only kepp the light on about 10 hours a day.

  5. um 30 degrees F is below freezing

  6. wow 30 degrees that's way too cold 32 is freezing. so the water was too cold!!!!!!! the fish will try to adapt to the water and that's how they lose color. but they can only adapt so well and when they can't they go belly up.

  7. 30 degress is too cold, although goldfish can withstand almost freezing temperatures they will eventually lose their color and activity.and die
