I got a bob last year, exactly 12 months ago, at the height of the short hair craze. every time i see people NOW they still think I cut my hair again. Why is my hair not growing? my hair is pretty damaged, but that shouldn't hinder its growth right cos hair grows from the ROOTS?

  1. well that could be a reason why your hair doesnt grow, your hair has to be healthy to grow, i would try eating jello and vitamins, that helps it grow. it also helps your nails grow!

  2. i got a bob at the end of last year, now my hairs fully grown back.

-use a shampoo for dry/damaged hair, use it everytime you wash your hair, which should be every 2 days or so. you should use a 50p size blob and thoroughly massage into your roots.

-get your hair cut every 6-8 weeks, even if its just half an inch just to prolong the health of your hair.

-use an intensive treatment on your hair once every week.

-you could also try taking some vitamin vitality tablets, but then again its upto you, all it does is provide the exact nutrients for your hair to ensure a healthy growth, look for tablets named 'Hair, Skin & Nails.'

*If you dont cut your hair, regularly use heated appliances, dye it, etc, then the split ends will travel up your hair shaft and damage the rest of your hair, maybe that's the reason why its not growing as it should, but on the other hand im really not sure.  id focus on getting as many split ends cut of your hair as possible! you just need to take thorough care of your hair from now on, and it should be growing back to normal in no time!

    good luck xo
