Why did my mailman threaten to kick my posterior region if I put strong cologne on any more of my envelopes?

Yeah...I put strong cologne on some of my envelopes and put them back in the mailbox with the red flag up for my mailman to mail for me. What's wrong with that? Is there a chance that he's on the verge of going postal or something?

Maybe He/She has Allergies! (Besides Smelling up the whole truck and other Peoples mail)

There are People who are  Allergic to Perfumes & Colognes!

For one, "cologne" is a very cheap version of perfume.  Strong smelling cologne ends up being completely stifling in an enclosed place - or when held close to your nose.

Like in a mail truck - in a mail box - or when clutched in a mailbag under your carrier's arm.

In addition, he may be allergic to c**p perfume.

And you want to make all the other mail in the bag/box/bin/truck stink like your cologne.

How about you act like you are close to being an adult and send a LETTER instead of a gag-inducing profession of your juvenile activities?

Mailmen are unionized and very lazy. They dont have to worry about ever getting fired or repromanded. So they dont feel they need to serve the customers. You are there to serve them. They complain about anything. We have neighbors who park their truck in front of our mailbox and the mailman REFUSES to deliver the mail. Because he would have to get out of this mail truck and hand deliver the mail. We have tried to complain but of course its the post office so they didnt do anything.
