Why did my nephew act this way?

Question

I was at my sister's house today and I needed to go #2. So I went to the bathroom and my 6 yo nephew really wanted to be in the bathroom with me...Why do you think he wanted to join when he knew I was going to go #2?? What would Sigmund Freud say??

he loves you! that`s just how little boys are! of course he probably won`t want to kiss you good-bye because kids believe in cooties.  kiss him anyway!

Maybe he did not want to leave site of you. Sometimes kids try to watch people as often as possible because they are afraid they are going to leave. You can think of it like a dog, they follow you to the bathroom and wait outside, giving you the sad 'don't leave me' look.

maybe his mom always takes him in with her???  That's the only thing I can think of.

He does this to me too.  But he stays in and I ask him if he can smell it and he says yes.  Then I say do you like how it smells and he says no.  Then I say "why are you still in here" and he says "I don't know".  But, when I go in the bathroom when he is going he says "Ok you can leave now"!

And they are right he does love you he would have to to want to smell that because I have smelled your #2 before and it does not smell like roses!

I think he is fasinated with #2 when his sister goes he always has to check it out and give a report to me and his dad. Kids!
