i always used to ovulated about 2 weeks before my period, middle of the month, is considered normal

well, on the past 2 cycles i have been ovulating right after my period at the beginning of the month

and that makes me wonder, isn't that bad, cuz then you clot in the uterus cuz the egg and everything stays in there for a whole month and sheds at the end of the month really heavy...hmmm

it was also very painful this last time, when i had my period

  1. i wouldnt worry to much  s/t your body goes through changes

  2. The egg is only a cell about a millimeter round. It's also perishable. It's only good for a certain number of hours/days. One dead cell isn't going to cause heavier periods or clotting.

As the previous answer stated, you can't assume that your symptoms are caused by ovulation. You may have developed a cyst on your ovaries, or something else may have changed.

Edit: I never said it changed your ovulation, but hello, if the cyst is on your ovaries, it can cause pain in your ovaries. Best thing to do to see if you actually ARE ovulating when you think you are. Get an ovulation-predictor kit.

  3. Thats not bad in any way. the normal cycle of ovulation goes 28days on the average, with a room for plus or minus 3 to 5 days. what this means is that it can either go up or down any month with 3, 4, or 5 days.

We  in the clinic don't usually worry about this untill a difference of 7 to 14 days is being noticed.

Just keep clean and neat, theres no problem

  4. How do you know, that you have ovulated? It is totally uncommon to ovulate longer than 18 days before your period, if you did, you were either pregnant or you are very sick.

To chart your ovulation you need to chart your morning temperature and cervical mucus. This is the way to find out when you ovulate. LH tests can give you a positiv result for several days. It is important to get the change from positiv to negativ, if you are trying to find out when your ovulation was, using LH tests.
